As you may have read more than once on this site, Mosáico cement tiles are produced in Marrakesh, Morocco and can bring a touch of the Orient into the home through their artisanal, traditional production and diverse designs. We have already completed great projects with many customers and have been able to make a significant contribution to the atmosphere and design of a room with our tiles. But at ArabesQ in Düsseldorf-Grafenberg, a unique Arab dream came true, which, to the happiness of all guests, has come true. Here, our classic cement tiles in soft shades of gray fit perfectly into the cocktail bar to bring peace to this area and remain authentic in theme.
But let's start from the beginning:
Dr. Shukry Na'amnieh and Nina Brandon, who both received academic training, had known each other privately for years when Dr. Na'amnieh purchased a property in Düsseldorf-Grafenberg. The two decided to become business partners and open an upscale Arabic restaurant, due to Dr. Na'amnieh's Palestinian origin, which brings people closer to the flavors of the Orient, away from kebab and flatbread. Mrs. Brandon, who has a keen sense of aesthetics, was entrusted with the planning and furnishing of the old “hunter's house” during the two-year renovation period.
The renovation work came to an end in 2012 and instead of a restaurant, a complete event location was created that is second to none. In the restaurant and on the adjacent summer terrace, guests can be enchanted not only by culinary gems from the Orient, by wonderful mosaics and cedarwood carvings by Arab artisans.
The lounge and cocktail bar invite you to relax with atmospheric beats and national and international wines are presented during tastings in the wine cellar.
But that's not all — ArabesQ also offers its guests a short spa stay in the salt cave in the basement of the house, beneficial for the skin and respiratory tract.
Dr. Na'amnieh and Mrs. Brandon and the ArabesQ team also offer wonderful design options for corporate events or larger events such as weddings, read more about this at arabesq.de.
