Die Villa Wunderlich is a listed four-sided courtyard with a lot of history. The farm has been owned by the family for over three centuries and has had its current design for over a hundred years. All the more tragic that this piece of tradition and family history fell victim to the wave of expropriation in the GDR in the 1950s and was operated by the local LPG, the Agricultural Production Cooperative, and the living space was rented out until the end of the German Democratic Republic.
The retransfer took many years, but in 1997 the beautifully landscaped farm was handed back into the hands of the Wunderlich family.
Since then, the farm has been lovingly renovated piece by piece and transformed into a pearl of conscious living using ecological natural building materials, such as clay plaster.
Starting with the residential building, after twenty years, further parts of the farm, such as a rental apartment, three beautiful holiday apartments and stables, have now been extended and lovingly designed. Inspired by the neighbor's cement tiles, the Wunderlich Mosáico family found cement tiles on the Internet and ordered several tile samples for their private kitchen. The Wunderlich family deliberately chose Mosáico cement tiles, as they are also manufactured without harmful substances and of the highest quality.
Due to the distance, our customers were never in our showroom in Cologne, but were only able to decide through the advice of Mr. Pisar and the tile samples provided and, according to Mrs. Wunderlich, were impressed every time — they have already furnished several holiday and rental apartments with Mosáico cement tiles. The response from holiday guests and friends is always very positive, and Ms. Wunderlich is always happy to have made this decision. Even when monochrome tiles in green and white were ordered for the bathroom of the rented apartment, which was built in the barn for sculptor Birgit Knappe, the result was convincing across the board.
We and the Wunderlich family are delighted with the beautifully designed, wonderfully located farm south of Potsdam and the beautifully completed projects. Thank you once again for the very, very nice conversation and the great impressions that were given to me. There could not have been better hands for this gem!
